Viajante Inveterado travel blog has become a reference for brazilian travelers. The author, Guilherme Goss De Paula, graduated in Tourism and Hotel Management, has his own travel agency (Reisen Turismo), has visited 64 countries and has worked as travel-writer for the best-seller brazilian travel guides O Viajante – called “the bible of the brazilian travelers”. Currently, in order to keep the blog and its social media up to date, Guilherme is traveling for the best destinations on Earth.
How we work
Viajante Inveterado is dedicated to Brazilian travelers – both the low-budget and wealthier travelers. For this reason, we do visit from youth hostels to five star hotels, from modest restaurants to luxury gastronomic spots. For every researched place, the blog provides a generous description.
In order to research and to produce good quality information, we try to visit as many places as possible and also try to know and enjoy all services. For that purpose, invitations are very welcome: accommodation and breakfast at hotels, lunch or dinner at restaurants, entrance in museums and tourist attractions, bus ticket or tours with local travel agencies to travel through the cities or the country and more.
The support by tourist facilities is that important to our work because it enables us put into practice this major travel blog – without any support this would be unsustainable. The result is made a good use by the tourists, as well by the private sectors related to tourism, with the encouragement and enhancement of the tourist flow in the region.
Support of companies
Companies take part at the tourist trade can get into in the Viajante Inveterado travel blog in two ways: editorial and commercial.
The editorial participation means that your service will be used by our team – like staying in your hotel, trying your food restaurant or doing your travel tour (a service that will be offered as an invitation, free of charge). However, note that the compliment is not an obligation – the travel-writer should write according to his perception when using the service, and should only recommend it if he enjoys it. But in all events, the hotel, restaurant or travel agency will be mentioned.
The commercial participation consists of business ads that, unlike the editorial form, are paid to be published. In this case, the content is an establishment responsibility, a regardless of the Viajante Inveterado editorial position. The blog is created with absolute independence. Companies that might assist in the research or collaborate in any way, as well as local tourist offices and ministries of tourism, do not have management over the work. However, they are always mentioned in the texts and acknowledgements.
Collaboration of hotels
Viajante Inveterado travel blog covers all kinds of accommodations, from youth hostels to five star hotels. Collaboration of restaurants
We travel a lot and, of course, we also eat! In the Viajante Inveterado travel blog and social media, the traveler can find all kinds of restaurants, from basic to luxury ones. We really appreciate the gastronomy of each place. The restaurants’ collaboration are very important because, first of all, like any good travel blog, we have to present – and recommend – good restaurants and/or with good cost-effective. More than just to look at the menu of a restaurant, it is important to know its facilities, its services and, of course, taste its food. And all of that can be described in the blog, enriching the text about the restaurant. If the travel-writer had lunch or dinner in the place, it’s 100% sure that the restaurant will be mentioned in the blog – as well as in the social media.
Although the lunch or dinner is complimentary, additional services may be charged to the traveler according to the restaurant rules. Commonly, a starter, a main course and a dessert, plus a non-alcoholic beverage, are offered to those who work in the tourism press. It’s always recommended that the restaurant informs what is included in the travel-writers lunch or dinner before starting to order.
Collaboration of museums, tourist attractions, travel agencies, tourist boards
In the Viajante Inveterado travel blog, the traveler can find all kinds of attractions, from museums, galleries, churches, parks and city tours to daytrips. The tourist attractions are of great importance to us. First, like any good travel blog, we need to present – and recommend – attractions and tours. The texts, pictures and videos are released almost instantly in the social media. However, in the blog it can take from a few days to a few weeks or months.
